Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. Remove the wheel and tire. REFER to Wheel and Tire .

2. NOTICE: Use of a brake drum puller or a torch is not recommended. Brake drum distortion can result.

NOTE: If the brake drum is seized to the wheel hub pilot diameter, tap the center of the brake drum between the wheel studs.
Remove the brake drum.

Installation

1. Adjust the rear brake shoes. REFER to Brake Shoe Adjustment .

2. Install the wheel and tire. REFER to Wheel and Tire .
