Possible Causes
- The feature is disabled
- Rear park aid camera configuration
- Audible parking aid system concern
- FCDIM (4.2 in [107 mm] display) concern
- APIM (8 in [203 mm] touchscreen display) concern
- BCM concern
Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-Checks
- If the rear parking aid camera is not configured after replacement, some video functions will be inoperative. Verify the rear parking aid camera configuration using the diagnostic scan tool.
- Verify that the visual parking aid alert is enabled in the FCDIM (4.2 in [107 mm] display) using the display button or using the FDIM (8 in [203 mm] display) settings menu.
