BCM DTC Fault Trigger Conditions

- Reversing lamp concern
- LIN concern
- BCM concern
- FCDIM (4.2 in [107 mm] display)
- APIM (8 in [203 mm] touchscreen display)
Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-Checks
- RJB Fuse 29 (5A) (vehicles without Auto-start-stop) or BJB Fuse 29 (10A) (vehicles with Auto-start-stop).
- Verify the luggage compartment lid is fully closed.
- If the rear parking aid camera is not configured after replacement, some video functions will be inoperative. Verify the rear parking aid camera configuration using the diagnostic scan tool.
NOTE:
Before disconnecting the camera, verify the connector is properly seated and latched.
NOTE:
The ambient lighting system and the rear video camera share the same LIN. If diagnosing DTC B1088:86 or B1088:88, it may be related to an ambient lighting system concern. REFER to INTERIOR LIGHTING
for diagnosis of the ambient lighting system.
