  Remove the cooling fan and shroud. REFER to: Cooling Fan Motor and Shroud

• 2.
  
  Remove the battery tray. REFER to: Battery Tray

• 3.
  
  Remove the wiring retainers and the nuts and remove the battery tray support bracket.

  Disconnect the gearshift cables.

  Remove the bell housing bolts.

  Disconnect the electrical connector, wiring retainer and remove the bolt and the ground strap.

  If equipped, remove the engine appearance cover.

  Position aside the wiring harness, remove the retainer nuts and brackets
