Transmission Draining and Filling

Filling

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. REFER to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview
- 3.
If equipped. Remove the underbody shield.- 1.
Remove the air deflector.
- 2.
Remove the underbody shield.
- 1.
- 4.NOTE: Be prepared to collect escaping fluid.
Remove the fill plug, the drain plug and drain the transmission fluid.
- 5.
Install the drain plug and add or remove transmission fluid as necessary.Material: Motorcraft® Dual Clutch Transmission Fluid / XT-11-QDC (WSS-M2C200-D2)
Torque: 26 lb.ft (35 Nm)

If equipped. Install the underbody shield.- 1.
Install the underbody shield.

Install the air deflector.
