If an obvious cause for an observed or reported concern is found, correct the cause (if possible) before proceeding to the next step.

Using a diagnostic scan tool, retrieve all Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). Refer to the appropriate DTC Chart in DTC Chart .
