Ready To Drive-Budget Set Displays

The IPC  provides a ready to drive message center indicator, which is a redundant indication to the ready to drive indicator. The ready to drive message center indicator is displayed under 2 conditions. The first condition is when the vehicle is placed in START and can be reset or may time out. The second condition is when the vehicle is in START and the driver door is opened. The second condition is also accompanied by a message center single tone chime.

The IPC  receives the ready to drive request message from the GWM  over the Infotainment Controller Area Network (I-CAN). The GWM  receives the ready to drive request message from the PCM  over the Electric Vehicle (EV) High Speed Controller Area Network (HS-CAN).

The budget set is a message displayed along with the ready to drive message center indicator. If the driver has not selected a target charge point, the charge point is set to a default value that is displayed as a DTE  in miles or kilometers.

The IPC  uses vehicle range and navigation inputs to control the budget set message center indicator. The IPC  receives the vehicle range display data from the GWM over the Infotainment Controller Area Network (I-CAN). The GWM  receives the vehicle range display data from the PCM  over the Electric Vehicle (EV) High Speed Controller Area Network (HS-CAN). The navigation destination message is sent to the IPC  from the FCDIM  over the Infotainment Controller Area Network (I-CAN).
