Hazard Display

The IPC  provides a hazard message center indicator in the form of a triangle to inform the driver that a transmission hazard may exist and a powertrain shutdown may be imminent or may have already occurred. The IPC  uses the battery warning indicator message, the transmission warning indicator request and the powertrain warning indicator request messages to control the hazard message center indicator.

The IPC  receives the battery warning indicator request from the GWM  over the Medium Speed Controller Area Network (MS-CAN). The GWM  receives the battery warning indicator request message from the BECM  over the Electric Vehicle (EV) High Speed Controller Area Network (HS-CAN).

The IPC  receives the transmission warning indicator request message from the GWM  over the Medium Speed Controller Area Network (MS-CAN). The GWM  receives the transmission warning indicator request message from the TCM  over the Electric Vehicle (EV) High Speed Controller Area Network (HS-CAN).

The IPC  receives the powertrain warning indicator request from the GWM  over the Infotainment Controller Area Network (I-CAN). The GWM  receives the powertrain warning indicator request message from the PCM  over the High Speed Controller Area Network (HS-CAN).
