Transport Mode

The vehicle is placed in a transport mode at the completion of production to reduce the drain on the battery. Transport mode is controlled by the BCM  . When the vehicle is in transport mode, the BCM  sends the IPC  the transport mode network message to display TRANSPORT MODE in the message center and turn off displays such as the PRNDL indicator at ignition OFF.
