Hardwired Inputs

The IPC  requires hardwired inputs from components that are not on either the High Speed Controller Area Network (HS-CAN) or the Medium Speed Controller Area Network (MS-CAN). These components are required for specific IPC  functions.

The hardwired inputs are provided by the following components:

• park detect switch (part of the floor shifter assembly)
• upper LH  steering wheel switch (message center)
• upper RH  steering wheel switch (audio control)
