Input Shaft Seal: Installation

Clean the PTU input shaft opening.

Position the inner seal above the PTU input shaft opening with the spring facing toward the PTU. Using 308-777 /4 and 205-153 (T80T-4000-W), install the seal.

Position the outer seal above the PTU input shaft opening with the spring facing away from the PTU. Using 308-777 /5 and 205-153 (T80T-4000-W), install the seal.

Install the new compression seal.

Install the PTU. REFER to Power Transfer Unit (PTU) .
Fill the PTU as necessary. REFER to Power Transfer Unit (PTU) Draining and Filling .
