Fuel Injection Pump Supply Tube: Installation

- Lubricate and install 1 new green O-ring and 1 new yellow O-ring to each fuel injection pump supply tube fitting.
- Install the fuel injection pump supply tube and the fuel injection pump supply tube manifold bolt.
- Tighten the fuel injection pump supply tube bolt to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
- Install the 2 fuel injection pump supply tube bracket bolts to the LH valve cover.
- Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
- Connect the fuel temperature sensor and the fuel pressure switch electrical connectors.
- Connect the wiring harness retainer.
- Install the fuel injection pump supply tube bracket stud bolt to the fuel filter bracket and connect the turbocharger wastegate vacuum tube retainer.
- Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
- Connect the fuel rail-to-fuel injection pump return tube quick connect coupling to the rear of the LH fuel rail. For additional information, refer to FUEL SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION - GASOLINE AND DIESEL .
- Position the LH engine sound shield and install the 4 LH engine sound shield retainers.
- Connect the fuel filter-to-fuel injection pump supply tube quick connect coupling to the secondary fuel filter. For additional information, refer to FUEL SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION - GASOLINE AND DIESEL .
- Connect the fuel return tube fitting to the fuel injection pump return tube quick connect coupling. For additional information, refer to FUEL SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION - GASOLINE AND DIESEL .
- Install the lower intake manifold. For additional information, refer to ENGINE - 6.7L DIESEL .
