Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the radiator. For additional information, refer to RADIATOR .
  2. Detach the lower cooling fan shroud from the cooling fan stator.
  3. Detach the power steering fluid cooler-to-power steering fluid reservoir hose retainer from the lower cooling fan shroud.
  4. Detach the Charge Air Cooler Temperature (CACT) sensor wiring harness retainer from the lower cooling fan shroud.
  5. Detach the horn wiring harness retainer from the lower cooling fan shroud
  6. Detach the 5 main wiring harness retainers from the lower cooling fan shroud.
  7. Detach the front impact severity sensor wiring harness retainer from the lower cooling fan shroud.
  8. Remove the lower cooling fan shroud from the vehicle.
  9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
