Removal and Installation

- Position the steering column in the downward and rearward position.
- Remove the upper instrument panel center finish panel. For additional information, refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL - CENTER, UPPER .
- Remove the steering column opening trim panel.
- Remove the 4 instrument cluster finish panel screws.
- Remove the tree type retainers for the gap hider.
- Remove the instrument cluster finish panel.
- If equipped, disconnect the electrical connectors.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Make sure to align the trim panel retaining clips to the adjacent retaining clip holes.
