Removal and Installation

  1. Position the steering column in the downward and rearward position.
  2. Remove the upper instrument panel center finish panel. For additional information, refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL - CENTER, UPPER .
  3. Remove the steering column opening trim panel.
  4. Remove the 4 instrument cluster finish panel screws.
    • Remove the tree type retainers for the gap hider.
  5. Remove the instrument cluster finish panel.
    • If equipped, disconnect the electrical connectors.
  6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • Make sure to align the trim panel retaining clips to the adjacent retaining clip holes.
