Removal and Installation

NOTE:
New bolts must be installed, do not reuse the bolts that were removed. The studs and nuts can be reused.
- Using an appropriate tool, push in the pin hole while pulling the safety belt tongue out of the safety belt buckle.
- If equipped, remove the storage compartment. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL AND CONSOLE .
- Remove and discard the 3 front seat riser-to-floor bolts.
- To install, tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).
- If equipped, disconnect the heated seat electrical connector.
- Remove the 3 rear seat riser-to-floor nuts.
- To install, tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).
- Remove the 60/40 rear seat assembly.

NOTE: Before installation, make sure the safety belt webbing is not twisted and the safety belts and buckles are accessible to the occupants.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
