Removal and Installation

NOTE: New bolts must be installed, do not reuse the bolts that were removed. The studs and nuts can be reused.

Using an appropriate tool, push in the pin hole while pulling the safety belt tongue out of the safety belt buckle.

If equipped, remove the storage compartment. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL AND CONSOLE .
Remove and discard the 3 front seat riser-to-floor bolts.
- To install, tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).
If equipped, disconnect the heated seat electrical connector.
Remove the 3 rear seat riser-to-floor nuts.
- To install, tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).
Remove the 60/40 rear seat assembly.
NOTE: Before installation, make sure the safety belt webbing is not twisted and the safety belts and buckles are accessible to the occupants.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
