Seat - Front, 20 Percent: Installation

NOTE: Before installation, make sure the safety belt webbing is not twisted and the safety belts and buckles are accessible to the occupants.
  1. Install the 20 percent seat retainers in the following sequence.
    1. Position the safety belt anchor. Install the 20 percent seat-to-floor RH rear nut.
      • Tighten to 63 Nm (46 lb-ft).
    2. Position the safety belt buckle. Install the 20 percent seat-to-floor LH rear nut.
      • Tighten to 63 Nm (46 lb-ft).
    3. Install the two 20 percent seat-to-floor front nuts in any sequence.
      • Tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).
  2. For seats without under seat storage, reposition the cushion cover and foam pad and engage the pin-type retainers.
  3. For 20 percent seats with under seat storage, install the utility tray.
