Removal and Installation

NOTE: Prior to installing a new Dual Climate Controlled Seat Module (DCSM), upload the module configuration information to the appropriate scan tool. This information must be downloaded into the new DCSM after installation. For additional information, refer to MODULE CONFIGURATION .
NOTE: For component identification and locations, refer to SEAT CUSHION - FRONT, BUCKET SEAT .
  1. When installing a new DCSM, carry out the appropriate steps in Programmable Module Installation (PMI). For additional information, refer to MODULE CONFIGURATION .
  2. From under the front of the front passenger seat, remove the DCSM in the following sequence.
    1. Remove the 2 DCSM screws.
    2. Release the locking wedges on the 2 DCSM electrical connectors.
    3. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
    4. Remove the DCSM.

  3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  4. If a new DCSM has been installed, carry out the appropriate steps in PMI. For additional information, refer to MODULE CONFIGURATION .
