Rear Brake Flexible Hose: Removal

NOTE: Do not spill brake fluid on painted or plastic surfaces or damage to the surface may occur. If brake fluid is spilled onto a painted or plastic surface, immediately wash the surface with water.
NOTE: SRW vehicles shown, DRW similar.

All brake flexible hoses 

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to JACKING & LIFTING .

    Caliper brake flexible hose 

    • To install, tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).

    • To install, tighten to 18 Nm (159 lb-in).

    • To install, tighten to 18 Nm (159 lb-in).

      Axle brake flexible hose 

    • To install, tighten to 18 Nm (159 lb-in).

    • To install, tighten the brake tube fittings to 18 Nm (159 lb-in).

    • To install, tighten to 17 Nm (150 lb-in).
