Hublock Vacuum Reservoir

Vehicles equipped with gasoline engines 

  1. Disconnect the vacuum supply hose from the hublock vacuum reservoir.
  2. Disconnect the Constant Vacuum Hublock (CVH) solenoid from the hublock vacuum reservoir.
  3. Disconnect the regulator from the hublock vacuum reservoir.
  4. Disconnect the 2 wire harness retainers from the hublock vacuum reservoir.
  5. Remove the hublock vacuum reservoir.
    1. Remove the bolt.
    2. Lift the hublock vacuum reservoir upward from the shroud.
      • To install, tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).
  6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

    Vehicles equipped with diesel engines 

  7. Remove the secondary battery tray. The hublock vacuum reservoir is part of the secondary battery tray and must be replaced as an assembly. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
