NOTE: Vehicles equipped with the Manual Shift-On-Stop (MSOS) system and manual hublocks should not be operated in 4H or 4L mode with the hublocks set to the FREE position. Doing so can result in damage to driveline components.
NOTE: Vehicles equipped with the Electronic Shift-On-The-Fly (ESOF) system and the Constant Vacuum Hublock (CVH) (magenta paint dot) design are not interchangeable with the Pulse Vacuum Hublock (PVH) (yellow paint dot) design. Doing so can result in damage to driveline components and/or the hublocks not operating correctly.

The transfer case is connected to the transmission output shaft and is responsible for transmitting power through the rear driveshaft to the rear axle, and through the front driveshaft to the front axle. There are 2 types of transfer cases: mechanical shift and electronic shift.
