Circuit Deactivation Ignition Module (CDIM): Installation

  1. Connect the electrical connector.
  2. Position the CDIM and install the 2 pin-type retainers.
    • If the CDIM is being installed new as a dealership option, the PCM must be enabled. For additional information, refer to the Extended Idle Shutdown Initialization General Procedure in ELECTRONIC ENGINE CONTROLS - DIESEL ENGINES .
