The message center provides a compass display in the message center display using directional information. On vehicles equipped with SYNC®, compass direction originates in the GPSM. On vehicles without SYNC®, compass direction originates in the compass module, which is integrated in the auto-dimming interior camera display mirror when the vehicle is equipped with rear video camera.
