Brake Calipers and Anchor Plates

  1. Inspect the brake calipers for leaks, damage to seals, and piston corrosion or binding.
    • If the brake caliper is leaking or otherwise damaged, install a new brake caliper. For additional information, refer to FRONT DISC BRAKE for front brake calipers or REAR DISC BRAKE for rear brake calipers.
  2. Inspect brake caliper anchor plate for corrosion build up. Clean or install new anchor plates as necessary.
