DTC P0369: Camshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Intermittent (Bank 1)

DTC P0369: CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR B CIRCUIT INTERMITTENT (BANK 1)

Description:  The PCM monitors the CMP circuit for an intermittent signal from the camshaft position (CMP) sensor, bank 1 sensor 2. For additional CMP sensor location information, refer to ENGINE CONTROL COMPONENTS .
Possible Causes: 
  • Intermittent open circuit
  • Intermittent short circuit
  • Damaged CMP sensor shielding
  • Incorrect harness connections
  • Corrosion
  • Damaged CMP sensor
Diagnostic Aids:  Harness routing, harness alterations, incorrect shielding, or electrical interference from other systems may have an intermittent impact on the CMP signal.
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory
