DTC P0330: Knock Sensor 2 Circuit (Bank 2)

DTC P0330: KNOCK SENSOR 2 CIRCUIT (BANK 2)

Description:  The knock sensor (KS) detects vibrations upon increase and decrease in engine RPM. The KS generates a voltage based on this vibration. This DTC sets if the voltage goes outside a calibrated level.
Possible Causes: 
  • KS circuit open
  • KS circuit short to voltage
  • KS circuit short to ground
  • Damaged KS
Diagnostic Aids:  A KS voltage greater than 0.5 volt with the ignition ON, engine OFF, indicates a concern is present.
The vehicle may need to be driven for several minutes to set this DTC.
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory 
All GO to PINPOINT TEST DG .
