Seat Backrest - Manual: Disassembly

NOTE: For component identification and locations, Refer to SEAT - EXPLODED VIEW .
  1. Remove the affected third row backrest. For additional information, Refer to SEAT BACKREST - MANUAL .
  2. Remove the backrest cover. Refer to SEAT BACKREST COVER - MANUAL .
  3. Remove the backrest foam pad.
  4. Remove the 2 head restraint bolts.
    • To install, tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).
  5. Remove the 2 head restraint nuts and the head restraint.
    • To install, tighten to 24 Nm (18 lb-ft).
