Pinch Strip Switch: Removal

NOTE:
LH side shown, RH side similar.
- Remove the liftgate trim panel. REFER to LIFTGATE TRIM PANEL .
- Disconnect the pinch strip switch electrical connector.
- Remove the 3 pin-type retainers and the push pin.
- Remove the pinch strip switch.
- Remove the rubber grommet and route the electrical connector out of the liftgate.
