Safety Belt Shoulder Height Adjuster: Installation

  1. Install the safety belt shoulder height adjuster in the following sequence.
    1. Engage the safety belt shoulder height adjuster T-tab to the B-pillar sheet metal.
    2. Rotate the top of the safety belt shoulder height adjuster up 90.
    3. Install the safety belt shoulder height adjuster bolt.
      • Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
  2. NOTE: Before installation, make sure the safety belt webbing is not twisted and the safety belts and buckles are accessible to the occupants.

    Position the D-ring and install the bolt.

    1. Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
  3. Install the B-pillar trim panels. REFER to B-PILLAR TRIM PANEL .
