Keyless Entry Keypad: Removal

  1. Remove the LH front door trim panel. REFER to DOOR TRIM PANEL - FRONT .
  2. Position the weather shield aside.
  3. Disconnect the keyless entry keypad electrical connector and unclip the connector from the door.
  4. Unclip the keyless entry keypad wiring harness from the door.
  5. Remove the exterior door window glass belt moulding screw and moulding.
    • To install tighten to 0.9 Nm (8 lb-in).

  6. NOTE: The keyless entry keypad is attached to the door with double-sided tape. Before installing the new keypad, clean the window applique mounting area with an appropriate alcohol-based cleaner and install new double-sided tape to the keypad.

    Remove the keyless entry keypad.
