Seat Backrest: Disassembly

NOTE:
For parts identification and location, Refer to SEAT EXPLODED VIEW
- Remove the seat backrest cover. Refer to SEAT BACKREST COVER .
- If equipped, disconnect the backrest heater mat electrical connector and separate the pin-type retainer.
- If equipped, remove the backrest TED
.
- Disconnect the electrical connector and separate the pin-type retainer.
- Disengage the TED from the backrest frame wire.
- Disengage the backrest TED from the backrest foam pad wire.
- Slide the TED out from between the power lumbar and cable.
- If equipped, remove the manual lumbar.
- Remove the manual lumbar control cable retainer.
- Disengage the manual lumbar retainers.
- If equipped, remove the power lumbar.
- Disconnect the motor and disengage the retaining clips.
- Remove the 2 pin-type retainers.
- Remove the backrest foam pad from the backrest frame.
