Internal Harness Service: Removal

  1. Remove the transmission fluid pan. Refer to TRANSMISSION FLUID PAN .
  2. Rotate the shell of the transmission vehicle harness connector counterclockwise and disconnect the transmission vehicle harness connector.

  3. Disconnect the selector lever cable end from the manual control lever.

  4. Move the manual control lever counterclockwise to the LOW position.

  5. Disconnect the 7 solenoid electrical connectors, 2 speed sensor electrical connectors, TFT sensor electrical connector and the TR sensor electrical connector and position the transmission wiring harness aside.

  6. Compress the 2 black tabs and push the wiring harness bulkhead through the transmission case and remove the transmission wiring harness.
