Circuit Name Description
ATC/SLY/LUBE Lubrication circuit for the slip yoke bushing.
C1234 Regulated line pressure from the forward (1, 2, 3, 4) clutch regulator valve supplied to the forward (1, 2, 3, 4) clutch to apply the clutch.
C1234FB C1234 pressure from the forward (1, 2, 3, 4) clutch latch valve supplied to the forward (1, 2, 3, 4) clutch regulator valve to oppose movement of the valve from PC1Z pressure during forward (1, 2, 3, 4) clutch application.
C35R Regulated line pressure from the direct (3, 5, R) clutch regulator valve supplied to the direct (3, 5, R) clutch to apply the clutch.
C35RFB C35R pressure from the direct (3, 5, R) clutch latch valve supplied to the direct (3, 5, R) clutch regulator valve to oppose movement of the direct (3, 5, R) clutch regulator valve from PC2Z pressure during direct (3, 5, R) clutch application.
C456 Regulated line pressure from the overdrive (4, 5, 6) clutch regulator valve supplied to the overdrive (4, 5, 6) clutch to apply the clutch.
C456FB C456 pressure from the overdrive (4, 5, 6) clutch latch valve supplied to the overdrive (4, 5, 6) clutch regulator valve to oppose movement of the valve from PC3Z pressure during overdrive (4, 5, 6) clutch application.
CAPY Regulated line pressure supplied to the torque converter clutch by the Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) apply regulator valve to apply the clutch.
CB26 Regulated line pressure from the intermediate (2, 6) clutch regulator valve to the intermediate (2, 6) clutch to apply the clutch in 2nd and 6th gears.
CB26FB CB26 pressure from the intermediate (2, 6) clutch latch valve supplied to the intermediate (2, 6) clutch regulator valve to oppose movement of the valve from PC3Z pressure during intermediate (2, 6) clutch application.
CBLRD Regulated line pressure from the low/reverse (1, R) clutch regulator valve supplied to the low/reverse (1, R) clutch for dynamic application of the low/reverse (1, R) clutch.
CBLRFB CBLRD pressure from the low/reverse (1, R) clutch latch valve supplied to the low/reverse (1, R) clutch regulator valve to oppose movement of the low/reverse (1, R) clutch regulator valve from PC4R pressure during low/reverse (1, R) clutch application.
CBLRS Line pressure from the low/reverse (1, R) clutch latch valve supplied to the low/reverse (1, R) clutch for static application of the low/reverse (1, R) clutch.
CCL Torque converter supply circuit.
CLEX Low pressure (approximately 17 kPa [2.5 psi]) fluid that fills the unused hydraulic circuits to avoid clutch drain back.
COTC Cooler bypass valve supply circuit from the COUT circuit.
COTX COTC pressure to the TCC charge control valve.
COUT Torque converter outlet circuit to the cooler bypass valve.
CRLX Torque converter feed circuit from the TCC charge limit valve to the torque converter
CRLZ CCL pressure to move the TCC charge limit valve during TCC application
D432 Line pressure from the manual valve supplied in NEUTRAL, DRIVE, M, 2 or 1 to the regulator valves.
FCPF Line pressure from D432 circuit supplied to the forward (1, 2, 3, 4) clutch regulator valve
LP Line pressure supplied by the pump controlled by the Line Pressure Control (LPC) valve and supplied to the manual valve and the low/reverse (1, R) clutch regulator and latch valves. LP also supplies SF and CLEX circuits through orifices.
LPC/LPCZ Solenoid pressure from the LPC solenoid to the main regulator valve to control line pressure.
LPX/NPX Line pressure from the LPC valve that supplies the LP circuit and the CCL circuit.
LUBE Lubrication circuit through the input shaft that supplies lubrication and balance dam fluid.
NDX Line pressure supplied from the manual valve in NEUTRAL and DRIVE position in 2nd, 3rd and 4th gears.
PC1/PC1Z Solenoid pressure from Shift Solenoid A (SSA) to the forward (1, 2, 3, 4) clutch regulator and latch valves to position the valves to apply the forward (1, 2, 3, 4) clutch.
PC2/PC2Z Solenoid pressure from Shift Solenoid B (SSB) to the direct (3, 5, R) clutch regulator and latch valves to position the valves to apply the direct (3, 5, R) clutch.
PC2D Feedback pressure from the direct (3, 5, R) clutch regulator valve to the low/reverse (1, R) clutch latch valve.
PC3/PC3Z Solenoid pressure from Shift Solenoid C (SSC) to the intermediate (2, 6) clutch regulator and latch valves to position the valves to apply the intermediate (2, 6) clutch.
PC3H Feedback pressure from the intermediate (2, 6) clutch regulator valve to the overdrive (4, 5, 6) clutch latch valve.
PC4/PC4Z Solenoid pressure from Shift Solenoid D (SSD) to the direct (3, 5, R) clutch latch valve to supply the PC4R circuit during low/reverse (1, R) clutch engagement in PARK, NEUTRAL and manual 1st gear.
PC4R Solenoid pressure PC4Z circuit directed to the low/reverse (1, R) clutch regulator and latch valves to position the valves to apply the low/reverse (1, R) clutch.
PC5/PC5Z Solenoid pressure from Shift Solenoid E (SSE) to the overdrive (4, 5, 6) clutch regulator and latch valves to position the valves to apply the overdrive (4, 5, 6) clutch.
R/D432 Line pressure supplied to the direct (3, 5, R) regulator valve from the either the R circuit or the D432 circuit.
SF/SFPR Pressure supplied to the shift, TCC and LPC solenoids (Solenoid feed pressure).
TCCL TCC charge control valve feedback pressure from the TCCZ circuit.
TCC/TCCZ Solenoid pressure from the TCC solenoid to the TCC charge control valve and TCC apply regulator valve to apply the TCC charge control valve
