Glove Compartment: Removal

Before beginning any service procedure, refer to SAFETY WARNINGS
. Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.
- Remove the RH instrument panel side trim panel.
- Detach the glove compartment dampener string from the glove compartment bin.
- If equipped, remove the passenger side knee bolster air bag. Refer to, SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM .

NOTE: LH side shown in illustration, RH side similar.
Remove the 2 glove compartment hinge pins.
- Open the glove compartment door, disengage the glove compartment down stops and remove the glove compartment door.
