SYMPTOM DESCRIPTION - WARNING CHIMES

The door ajar warning chime is inoperative	Wiring, terminals or connectors BCM IPC	OBSERVE the door ajar message center warning indicator. If the door ajar message center warning indicator does not operate correctly, GO to PINPOINT TEST AC . If the door ajar message center warning indicator operates correctly, INSTALL a new IPC . REFER to Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) .
The parking brake warning chime is inoperative	Brake warning indication concern BCM IPC	GO to PINPOINT TEST AQ .
The perimeter alarm chime is inoperative	Perimeter alarm concern IPC	VERIFY the key-in-ignition warning chime functions correctly. If the key-in-ignition warning chime does not function correctly, GO to PINPOINT TEST AL . If the key-in-ignition warning chime functions correctly, REFER to ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM - PERIMETER .
The turn signal on warning chime is inoperative	Exterior lighting concern BCM IPC	GO to PINPOINT TEST AO .
The air bag secondary warning chime is inoperative or has activated	IPC	RETRIEVE the recorded IPC DTCs from the self-test. If the IPC DTC P1534:01 is not present, the system is operating correctly. The air bag secondary warning chime sounds only when a fault in the air bag warning indicator is present and DTC P1534:01 is recorded. If the IPC DTC P1534:01 is present, INSTALL a new IPC . REFER to Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) .
