Toe Link: Installation

NOTE: Suspension fasteners are critical parts that affect performance of vital components and systems. Failure of these fasteners may result in major service expense. Use the same or equivalent parts if replacement is necessary. Do not use a replacement part of lesser quality or substitute design. Tighten fasteners as specified.

NOTE: Do not tighten the toe link-to-subframe bolt at this time.

Position the toe link and loosely install the new toe link-to-subframe bolt.
Loosely install the new toe link-to-wheel knuckle bolt and nut.
Use a jackstand to raise the rear suspension until the distance between the center of the hub and the lip of the fender is equal to the measurement taken in Step 1 of the removal procedure (curb height).
Tighten the new toe link-to-subframe bolt.
- Tighten to 150 Nm (111 lb-ft).
Tighten the new toe link-to-wheel knuckle bolt and nut.
- Tighten to 150 Nm (111 lb-ft).
Remove the jackstand.
Install the rear wheels and tires. REFER to WHEEL AND TIRE .
Check and, if necessary, adjust the rear toe. REFER to TOE ADJUSTMENT - REAR .
