Bumper Cover - Rear: Removal

  1. Remove the rear fender molding. Refer to FENDER MOLDING -- REAR .
  2. NOTE: LH  side shown in illustration, RH  side similar.

    Remove the 3 screws and the pin-type retainer.

  3. Remove the rear lamp assemblies. Refer to REAR LAMP ASSEMBLY .
  4. NOTE: LH  side shown in illustration, RH  side similar.

    Remove the 2 bumper cover pin-type retainers located in the rear lamp openings.

  5. NOTE: LH  side shown in illustration, RH  side similar.

    Remove the 2 bumper cover pin-type retainers along the top of the bumper cover.

  6. Remove the 2 lower bumper cover screws.

  7. Disconnect the backup sensor electrical connector and remove the pin-type retainers.

  8. Remove the bumper cover.
