Bumper Cover - Rear: Installation

  1. Position the bumper cover to the vehicle.
  2. NOTE: LH  side shown in illustration, RH  side similar.

    Install the 2 bumper cover pin-type retainers along the top of the bumper cover.

  3. NOTE: LH  side shown in illustration, RH  side similar.

    Install the 2 bumper cover pin-type retainers located in the rear lamp openings.

  4. Install the 2 lower bumper cover screws.
    1. Tighten to 3 Nm (27 lb-in).

  5. Connect the backup sensor electrical connector and install the pin-type retainers.

  6. Install the rear lamp assemblies. Refer to REAR LAMP ASSEMBLY .
  7. NOTE: LH  side shown in illustration, RH  side similar.

    Install the 3 screws and the pin-type retainer in the wheel opening.

    1. Tighten the 3 screws to 3 Nm (27 lb-in).

  8. Install the rear fender moldings. Refer to FENDER MOLDING -- REAR .
