Hydraulic Lash Adjuster Inspection

- Inspect the hydraulic lash adjuster for damage. Inspect the hydraulic lash adjuster for a distorted or loose cap. Install a new hydraulic lash adjuster as necessary.
- If any damage is found, inspect the valve tappet, push rod and rocker arm for damage.
