Flexplate Inspection

Inspect the flexplate for damage. If damage is found, replace the flexplate.
1. Inspect the flexplate for evidence of cracking around the ring gear weldments.
2. Inspect the ring gear for worn, chipped or cracked ring gear teeth.
3. Verify the flexplate weights are not missing or have cracked weldments.
4. Inspect the flexplate for cracking around the webbing.
