Oil Pan Components

The following components make up the oil pan:
- The engine oil filter mount is attached to the oil pan. It contains the oil pressure sensor, the oil temperature sensor, and uses a spin-on style engine oil filter.
- The upper oil pan is a structural member of the powertrain assembly and contains the lower transmission mounting bosses.
- The lower oil pan contains a quarter turn quick release drain plug.
- The oil cooler is mounted externally to the upper oil pan and has a fastener that is accessed from the inside after the lower oil pan is removed.
