Solenoid Body Leadframe: Removal

WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure, refer to SAFETY WARNINGS . Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.
  1. Remove the main control cover. Refer to MAIN CONTROL COVER .
  2. Disconnect the TR  sensor electrical connector.

  3. Disconnect the OSS  sensor electrical connector.

  4. Remove the main control-to-cover seal.

  5. NOTE: Be careful not to bend or twist the leadframe or the solenoid terminals when removing the leadframe or damage can occur to the leadframe or the solenoids.

    Remove the 5 screws and the leadframe from the solenoids by lifting it straight up evenly.
