Removal and Installation

- Drain the cooling system. Refer to COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, FILLING AND BLEEDING .
- Remove the 3 twist lock retainers and the underbody air duct.

NOTE: Failure to position the wood block and floor jack as illustrated can result in damage to the oil pan.
Position a floor jack with a block of wood under the front of the oil pan.
- Remove the engine coolant degas bottle. REFER to DEGAS BOTTLE .
- Disconnect the upper radiator hose from the intake manifold.
- Remove the A/C tube bracket bolts from the upper and lower RH shock tower.
- Remove the 4 nuts, 3 bolts and the engine mount.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Fill and bleed the cooling system. REFER to COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, FILLING AND BLEEDING .
