Crankshaft Pulley: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. REFER to JACKING AND LIFTING .
  2. Remove the RH splash shield. REFER to FENDER SPLASH SHIELD .
  3. Remove the 3 twist lock retainers and the underbody air duct.

  4. Remove the accessory drive belt. Refer to ACCESSORY DRIVE BELT -- 3.5L GTDI .
  5. Remove the crankshaft pulley bolt and washer.
    • Discard the bolt.

  6. Remove the crankshaft pulley.
