Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the Front Display Interface Module (FDIM). For additional information, refer to INFORMATION AND ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEMS .
  2. NOTE: Vehicles equipped with Electronic Automatic Temperature Control (EATC) have 2 HVAC module electrical connectors. Vehicles equipped with Electronic Manual Temperature Control (EMTC) have 1 HVAC module electrical connector.

    Disconnect the 2 HVAC module electrical connector(s).

  3. Release the HVAC module retaining clips and remove the HVAC module.
  4. NOTE: Be sure that all HVAC module electrical connectors are securely fastened before installing the center instrument panel finish panel.

    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
