Belt-Minder® Deactivating/Activating: Preparation

  1. Before deactivating/activating the Belt-Minder®, set the parking brake.
  2. Place the gearshift in PARK (P) (automatic transmission) or the NEUTRAL (N) position (manual transmission).
  3. Close all doors.
  4. Place the ignition switch in the OFF position.
  5. Unbuckle the driver and passenger safety belt.
