DTC P0116: ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR 1 CIRCUIT RANGE/PERFORMANCE
| Description: | This DTC sets when the vehicle has been driven above 1, 250 RPM without the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor signal increasing above 70°C (158°F). The time to set the concern depends on the engine coolant and intake air temperatures and can vary between 20 and 60 minutes. | ||

| Diagnostic Aids: | Make sure the intake air and engine coolant temperatures are similar when the engine is cold. Make sure the ECT sensor and the actual engine operating temperatures are the same. | ||
