Removal and Installation

- Remove the lower steering column shroud. For additional information, refer to STEERING COLUMN .
- Disconnect the Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) transceiver electrical connector.
- Using a suitable tool (such as a dentist pick), unclip the 2 tabs and remove the PATS transceiver.

NOTE: Replacement of the PATS transceiver does not require the Integrated Keyhead Transmitters (IKTs) keys to be programmed into the Body Control Module (BCM).
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
