Transmission Fluid Cooler: Removal

- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
- Drain the diesel powertrain secondary cooling system. For additional information, refer to ENGINE COOLING - 6.7L DIESEL POWERTRAIN SECONDARY COOLING .
- Remove the transmission fluid cooler tube secondary latches.

NOTE: The transmission fluid cooler outlet tube is shown in illustration the transmission fluid cooler inlet tube is similar.
Using the Transmission Cooler Line Disconnect Tool, disconnect the transmission fluid cooler tube assembly.
- Detach wiring harness pin-type retainer.

NOTE: The transmission fluid cooler outlet hose is shown in illustration the transmission fluid cooler inlet hose is similar.
Disconnect the transmission fluid cooler hoses.
- Remove the 3 bolts and the transmission fluid cooler.
