P1290 - CYLINDER HEAD TEMPERATURE (CHT) SENSOR CIRCUIT LOW
| Description: Indicates a CHT circuit short to ground. | |||

| Diagnostic Aids: A CHT V PID value reading of less than 0.2 volt with the ignition ON engine OFF, or during any engine operating mode, indicates a concern is present. The DTC P0117 may also be reported when this DTC sets. Either of these DTCs illuminates the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL). | |||
