System Operation

On the 3.5L Ti-VCT  engine, exhaust gases pass through LH and RH catalytic converters into the exhaust Y-pipe assembly. The exhaust gases then flow through the muffler and tailpipe assembly.

On the 2.0L GTDI  engine, exhaust gases pass through the turbocharger, catalytic converter and then into the exhaust flexible pipe assembly. The exhaust gases then flow through the muffler and tailpipe assembly.
